How attention becomes a form of worship

Most forms of worship are assumed to begin with ritual. But in a deeper sense, they begin earlier — with attention.

What we notice, how we stay with it, and whether we engage with it casually or consciously — these shape the quality of our inner life.

What we repeatedly attend to slowly begins to define us.

A distracted mind fragments experience. A deliberate mind gathers it.

In that gathering, something changes — attention becomes discipline, and discipline becomes a quiet form of devotion.
